NORTHERN LIGHTS PICKLEBALL

Christie Park offers 2 tennis courts and pickleball facilities in southwest Calgary. The outdoor courts welcome drop-in players and attract a regular morning pickleball community. Courts show signs of age with some surface wear, though players maintain an active, welcoming atmosphere.

Foothills Pickleball Courts opened September 2024 as some of Calgary's first dedicated public outdoor courts, featuring 12 courts built on redeveloped foundations. Free drop-in play first-come, first-served, with online reservations available at $8.40/hour per court. Well-maintained courts positioned near trees for wind protection. Temporary facility until the future Foothills Multisport Fieldhouse is built.

Signal Hill offers shared tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts in a public park setting. The facility welcomes drop-in play with a respectful community atmosphere where players take turns. Located in Calgary's Signal Hill neighborhood, it provides accessible recreational opportunities for various skill levels.
