View all in Medicine Hat →The South Country Co-op Pickleball Courts is a premier 20-court outdoor pickleball facility in Medicine Hat, Alberta, built in partnership with the City of Medicine Hat and operated by the Medicine Hat Pickleball Club (MHPC). Open seasonally from approximately May through October, the facility features an amenities building with washrooms and storage, a 10-table covered social area, evening lighting for after-dark play, and access to the UCT Clubhouse with BBQ and music. The club offers weekly drop-in sessions, organized social play, guided skills and drills, and free learn-to-play lessons for beginners — with Ernie Ball machine rentals also available. Adult memberships are $80/year and junior memberships (ages 8–17) are $40/year. With over 400 members ranging from age 6 to 81, the club welcomes all skill levels. The facility has hosted prestigious events including the Pickleball Alberta Provincial Championships and the 2023 Western Canadian Pickleball Championships, and is scheduled to host the 2025 Pickleball Alberta Championship.
